Bereavement Ministry Training: Learning to Lend Support

Saturday, September 22 – 9:00am – 12 noon

St. John Vianney Parish, 1755 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield 53005

Cost: Free and open to everyone

At one time or other most of us have felt at a total loss of what to say to or do for someone who is deeply grieving the loss of a loved one.  Many of us actually say things that hurt, rather than help, since we don’t understand the grief process adequately.  If you wish to enhance your ability to comfort others, whether for your own use or as part of a Bereavement Ministry in your parish, you are invited to attend this Bereavement Ministry Training session.  Registration is requested, but not required.

Contact Janlyn Carvalho at janlync@stjohnv.org or 262-796-3944.

The presenter, Sharon Modrzynski, is a certified Thanatologist and former Bereavement Director at St. John Vianney Parish.  She has great experience in working with grieving people, both in Milwaukee and now in Wautoma, Wisconsin.
