The US Bishops have requested that the 14 days between June 21st and July 4th of this year be dedicated as a “Fortnight of Freedom." This special period of prayer, study and public action will support the ongoing struggle to protect religious freedom and conscience rights.
As part of this fortnight, St. Joseph Parish, 1619 Washington St., Grafton, is hosting a “Holy Hour for Freedom” on Thursday June 28, 2012 at 7 p.m.
This hour will consist of exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, special prayers for freedom and will end at 8 p.m. with a Solemn Blessing.
