The Archdiocese of Milwaukee presents an Ad Limina Pilgrimage to Rome - the City of Saints Peter and Paul - with Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki, Feb. 10 - 17, 2012.
In addition to inviting the bishops of Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, Archbishop Listecki also asks the faithful of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to embark upon this faith-filled trip alongside him.
Every diocesan bishop in the world is required by canon law to travel to Rome every five years to make a report about the state of his diocese to the Holy Father and offices of the Roman Curia, as well as to pray at the tombs of St. Peter and St. Paul. This trip, called the ad limina, brings bishops literally to the thresholds of the Apostles.
