Extraordinary Synod Survey Results

MILWAUKEE -- Last fall Archbishop Lorenzo Baldisseri, General Secretary of the Synod, distributed to the bishops of the world, a preparatory document which concluded with a series of questions. Bishops were encouraged to seek consultation on these questions. Archbishop Listecki encouraged people to respond to the questions by making an on line survey available. The survey included some of today’s most pressing domestic topics: Teaching on Family, Family & Evangelization, Same Sex Unions and Openness to Life.

The survey questions were presented to parish staff members, who in turn, shared them with parishioners. The questionnaire was available on the archdiocesan website with the link published in many parish bulletins and other forms of local communication.

The Archbishop reviewed the analysis of the survey results and prepared his report for the Bishops’ Conference. He wants to make the report available so it is posted on the archdiocesan website along with the survey analysis. For complete survey analysis and results, follow this link.
