For over 100 years, St. Adalbert School has acknowledged and welcomed the diverse immigrant student population, which comprises the school community. Our school has dedicated itself to serving the poor and disadvantaged as Jesus has called us to do. We have a long-standing tradition of helping newly immigrated students integrate into school life, the local community and the United States through respect, celebration of different cultures and responsiveness to social needs.
St. Adalbert not only provides its students with a first-rate education, but it also helps families adapt to their new lives, offers a sense of community to those far from their place of origins and is sensitive to the needs of working families. St. Adalbert provides daycare before and after school, offers full-day four-year and five-year-old kindergarten and serves grades K4 through eighth grade.
Teachers and staff create a safe, loving environment that encourages students to believe in themselves, live up to their fullest potential and celebrate their heritage. Technology, music, native-language instruction and athletic programs add to the diversity of each child’s experience.
St. Adalbert’s curriculum places heavy emphasis on phonics, reading and language arts due to the number of students we serve with limited English skills. We offer a strong math curriculum, as well as science, social studies and health. Religion is much more than an academic course -- it is woven into the fiber of each day. The theories of multiple intelligences and traditional presentations are blended together to ensure the students have adequate opportunities to use their preferred learning style, yet acquire basic skills and information.
An education at St. Adalbert is an investment in your child’s future. Take the time to acquaint yourself with St. Adalbert and the value it provides to students and their families.
