The Office for Parish Finances provides advice and recommendations regarding record keeping and the procedures for handling parish monies to parish staff and finance committees.

The archdiocese requires an annual financial report from each parish. After these reports are reviewed for accuracy, they become the source documents for various financial analyses and summaries.

The Office for Parish Finances is a resource to archdiocesan staff members as they serve parishes. Financial information and analysis is provided for various central offices. Members of this office also routinely review parish requests for the archbishop's permission for extraordinary expenditures or borrowing, and the director is an ex-officio member of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Building Commission.
