In 1981 the Archdiocese of Milwaukee began a relationship of faith, friendship and solidarity with the people of La Sagrada Familia/Holy Family parish in the Dominican Republic. In the past 32 years a total of 16 priests and 4 lay missioners from our archdiocese have served among the members of this growing parish of 30,000 people. Many parishioners from our archdiocese have visited La Sagrada Familia parish and experienced the warm caring hospitality of our Dominican sisters and brothers.
While nutrition centers have been built and health needs are being addressed there is still a great need for clean water, scholarships, adult literacy programs and rehab for children born with disabilities. Next week or today a speaker who has visited La Sagrada Familia will invite you to give generously to help the families of la Sagrada Familia. Thank you!
