On January 4, 2011, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee filed a petition to reorganize its financial affairs under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Since entering into Chapter 11, the archdiocese set up a mail box reorg@archmil.org to allow individuals to ask questions specific to the proceedings.
As questions come in, the archdiocese responds to them and posts the most commonly asked questions (and their answers) on the website.
