We are an international Franciscan congregation whose way of life is uniting our action with contemplation, with prayer, community, service as basic roots. Our contemplative life gives us a passion for ministry, enabling us to respond to the changing needs of our world. Our ministries focus on those who suffer deprivation, social fragmentation, family disintegration, and personal isolation.
We minister in many places, from the central city to the AODA unit, from retreat centers to board rooms, from migrant camps to offices.
Our concern for the poor takes us across the world in service to the people of Austria, Brazil, Germany, Italy, the United States, and to the shores of the Caribbean in the Dominican Republic, St. Lucia, Grenada, and Trinidad.
Forging forward, we continue to witness to the compassionate presence of our Mother of Sorrows through our lives of prayer, community, and service. |
