School Sisters of St. Francis are an international community of 1,300 women
in the United States, Europe, Latin America and India. School Sisters serve
in educational, healing and pastoral ministries in 21 states and 10
countries. Our mission is to witness to the Good News of Jesus Christ and
the presence of the reign of God as we enter into the lives and needs of
people, especially the poor. We commit ourselves to develop nonviolent, healing processes and mechanisms to achieve mutuality, reconciliation and justice among ourselves, in our ministries, in the Church, and in broader society.
