A priest of the Milwaukee Archdiocese heard the story of a 4 year old little girl who was very concerned that Baby Jesus never had any socks on in pictures.  Father Roscioli, spiritual director of MACCW (Milwaukee Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women) mentioned this to the women and this was the beginning of their “Socks for Baby Jesus” annual sock collection in 2010. 

The Nativity of the Lord Christian Ladies Guild have been collecting socks annually in January since 2013.  We invite you to donate NEW socks - any size, color, shape—for men, women, children, toddlers and infants for our 2020 sock drive.  The socks collected at our Parish will be donated to Project Concern. You can place your donations in the special collection boxes at each church entrance or drop them off at the Parish Office (4611 S Kirkwood Ave) during business hours. 

New socks are rarely a donation received at Project Concern. 

Our goal is 400+ pairs to surpass last year’s amount.
