AP Computer Science Teacher: One Section of AP Computer Science (Part-time 20% FTE) for the 2025-26 School Year

Job Start-End Date: 

AP Computer Science class runs 1st and 2nd semester, classes held August 18, 2025 – May 22, 2026

Compensation: 

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, with a salary based on experience. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Teach 1 section of AP Computer Science. 
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school counselors, and administrators in support of student learning. 
  • Plan lessons, create assignments and assessments, and develop other classroom opportunities to provide an engaging learning experience for all students. 
  • Demonstrate a dedication to learning about our Catholic mission and then put into practice our Catholic mission and our Quality values, supporting students and colleagues in this endeavor. 
  • Commit to helping all students, regardless of their background, prior preparation, or skill level, grow in science understanding and skill application, and grow in the Qualities of the Graduate.  

Qualifications

Qualifications:  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 

Education and/or Experience:  

Position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science/programming or industry experience. A WI DPI license and high school teaching experience is a plus, industry experience is preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  

Highly effective communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a strong desire to assist all students to be successful are also required.  

Physical Demands:   

This position requires constant contact and communication with others, multitasking, repetitive motion, some standing, sitting, and bending, and requires the daily use of computers, various monitors and other office equipment.  

Work Environment:   

The work takes place primarily in an office/school environment.
