Administrative Assistant

St. Josaphat Parish School is looking for an experienced bi-lingual administrative assistant to work with the principal in leading the school.  The administrative assistant will manage School Choice paperwork and filings. They will also manage the front office which includes attendance, answering the phone, calls to parents/ guardians, collecting payments and managing proper records for various school functions, and other important duties.

Qualifications

The administrative assistant is the face and goodwill ambassador of the school.  Excellent people skills are a must. Good organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail are absolutely necessary.  Fluency in Spanish and English are required.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant

  • Familiarity with office organization and optimization techniques

  • High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Integrity and professionalism

  • Fluent in speaking Spanish and English

  • High school diploma
