Position Responsibilities

• Process daily deposits.
• Monitor cash account.
• Process invoices through Accounts Payable, ensuring correct account numbers and authorization of the department head on each invoice.
• Generate checks weekly for Accounts Payable.
• Prepare and process payroll on a semi-monthly basis.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Responsible for preparing monthly journal entries.
• Produce financial statements.
• Process changes/additions/deletions to employee insurance plans.
• Monitor monthly invoices from insurance carriers to ensure proper fees are being charged.
• Communication with staff in regard to changes to insurance plans.
• Facilitate meetings with insurance carriers/agents to educate employees on plans.
• Responsible for the administration of COBRA Insurance.
• Assist with annual audits & the preparation for the audits.
