Associate Director- Catholic Schools Development


  • Serve as a development resource for Catholic elementary and high schools in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
  • Plan and develop fundraising programming and resource materials for school staff and volunteers in Archdiocesan schools.
  • Plan and execute the annual Archbishop’s Catholic Schools Dinner which attracts 600+ guests each year.
  • Identify and solicit event sponsors, table sales and individual donors for the Catholic Schools Dinner, along with volunteer committee.
  • Direct and maintain, in collaboration with the Schools Office, the GIFTS grants program, which is the beneficiary of the proceeds from the Schools Dinner.
  • Assist in planning and executing the annual Soles for Catholic Education Walk.
  • Identify and solicit potential event sponsors and individual donors for the Soles for Catholic Education Walk, along with volunteer committee.
  • In collaboration with the Development Director, launch new initiatives to help Catholic schools thrive and grow.
  • Responsible for generating approximately $300,000 annually in event-related sponsorships and gifts.



  • The Archdiocese of Milwaukee provides a full scope of employment benefits.
  • The position is a full-time, salaried position working in-person at the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Pastoral Center.
  • Occasional weekend and evening assignments.
  • Occasional travel throughout the 10 counties of southeastern Wisconsin.


  • Bachelor’s Degree is required.  
  • Minimum of two to five years’ experience in a professional development position required, including experience with personal solicitation, volunteer engagement, special events and project management. 
  • Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or other donor database software preferred. 
  • Practicing Catholic is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Catholic schools preferred.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
