Major Position Responsibilities & Regular Activities
- Collaborate across departments on various communication projects.
- Manage creation, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic materials, including:
- Annual report for parishioners
- Marketing and fundraiser materials, as needed
- Consistent and engaging postings and conversations on social media outlets, including Facebook and twitter, as appropriate
- Maintain and update the organizational website with event announcements, photos, newsletters, press releases, etc.
- Event announcements, invitations, programs, signage, and other needed materials
- Help other staff members to prepare for workshops, trainings, guest speaker engagements, and other events to ensure that all communications are accurate and consistent
- Brainstorm and envision ways to communicate best with parishioners and the community
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Manage & update parish websites. Cross reference with weekly bulletin.
- Manage email databases and utilize for email marketing.
- Homilies on podcast.
- Oversee the use of the Audio Visual monitors in the gathering space and entrance ways, maximizing their use.
- Establish the list and keep updated the methods and names for press releases to various media outlets in the Milwaukee County area, and the archdiocese, so these are easily used by Pastoral Staff in their work.
- Support staff with graphic design needs.
- Provide guidance on communication efforts for major events, such as Major Feast Days, School Dinner Dance, Fish Fry and Annual School Fund Raiser, and others.
- Understand the many means of communication, stay up to date on new avenues, and encourage their use. Find appropriate training, when necessary, for staff.
- Learn to prepare the weekly bulletin for both parishes, and be a backup person to the bulletin coordinator.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Savvy with Microsoft Office (Word,Excel,PowerPoint,Publisher), Squarespace, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator,Indesign,and Photoshop) as needed.
Hours: 25 hours per week
