Development Assistant

  • Core job duties for the Development Assistant will include managing the donor database, preparing progress reports, drafting correspondence, engaging with potential donors, accurately tracking & recording contributions, preparing and managing mailing lists, assisting with event planning, assisting with volunteer programs, ensuring timely acknowledgment of contributions, as well as entering and tracking revenue and reporting accurate financial data.

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s degree or greater

• 1-2 years of experience in professional office setting (nonprofit experience preferred)

• Database management experience.

• Computer literacy (MS Office & Google suite, database, internet)

• Networking skills.

• Self-motivated.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Customer-oriented.

• Analytical skills.
