A description of the essential roles, responsibilities and regular activities:

• Directs and coordinates the implementation of the Family and Youth Programs (grades K4-11).                                                                                                                                                                                                                
• Responsible for directing the parent, child, family and youth catechesis component of the Christian formation program.   
• Coordinates the sacramental program for First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation.
• Plans and implements the parent orientations and sacramental preparation retreats.
• Recruits, conducts in-services, supervises and evaluates catechists. 
• Informs and updates parents of guidelines and outcomes for specific grade levels.
• Organizes and distributes materials to the students, their parents and the catechists. 
• On-site presence at both St. Catherine of Alexandria and St. Joan of Arc offices and for Christian Formation sessions.
• Maintains records of Christian Formation program and all required training/certificates required by the Archdiocese.
• Develops and works with the budget allocated for the operation of each program.
• Attends and support Christian Formation Commission meetings.
• Offers supervision, direction and support to the Christian Formation Program Assistant.
