The search team preference is for an experienced teacher who is licensed as an instructor for Science in the State of Wisconsin.  SMSA is also open to qualified non-traditional applicants.  The successful candidate builds positive rapport with teenagers, and thrives in a mission driven college preparatory learning environment.  Candidates shall demonstrate fluency in common core state standards, and are able to differentiate instructional strategies as well as formative and summative assessment practices.  The successful candidate values forming a learning community, is innovative, collaborative, flexible, generous with students and colleagues, and able to successfully integrate technology into daily teaching practices.
