The ideal candidate will love working with and challenging all adolescents to achieve excellence, be a collaborative and a positive presence among colleagues, open and eager to forge community partnerships in the area of science, and be fully immersed in creating a world class model of learning.
The qualified candidate will be able to teach either one of the following sets of courses: Principles of Engineering and AP Physics OR Human Body Systems (PLTW) and Earth Science.
Qualifications
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college/university required • DPI license preferred (will consider unlicensed candidates who can demonstrate appropriate content knowledge and have an interest in pursuing licensure). • Experience and expertise in science • Experience managing and coordinating programs • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills • Experience working with teenage students of varying abilities
