Waukesha Catholic is seeking a dedicated and passionate Part-Time (0.6 FTE) Math Resource Specialist (Interventionist) to join our team and support students in grades 3 through 8 who require additional assistance in mathematics. As a Math Resource Specialist, you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to identify areas of need, develop targeted intervention plans, and implement strategies to help students build essential math skills and improve their academic performance. The Math Resource Specialist will also be a member of our Learning Support Team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze assessments to identify students' mathematical strengths and weaknesses.
• Design and implement individualized or small-group intervention plans tailored to students' needs.
• Provide direct instruction using evidence-based math intervention strategies and techniques.
• Monitor student progress through ongoing assessment and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention activities with classroom instruction and curriculum standards.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, administration, parents, and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and strategies for support.
• Maintain accurate records of student intervention data and progress reports.
• Participate in parent/student/teacher conferences.
• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and resources in math intervention to continuously improve instructional methods.
