Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

 K: Knowledge

• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Basic understanding of equipment and Power Tools.

 S: Skills

• Professional working attitude.  Must keep supervisor informed of all activities.
• Collaborative approach with staff and volunteers.
• Strong cleaning skills for all levels of janitorial work throughout all campus buildings.
• Basic computer skills in order to access employee payroll and benefit information on-line.

 A: Abilities

• Be on call to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
• Ability to communicate via email and text with your own mobile phone.
• Ability to operate and lawn equipment, snow equipment and other tools.
• Ability to learn through on the job training and apply that knowledge.
• Ability to take direction and demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate self-motivation
• Demonstrate attention to details. 
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with supervisor on a daily basis.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
• Comply with OSHA Safety and health rules.
