MS/HS Principal

The MS/HS Principal is responsible for creating a culture in which our students, families, and our broader school community feels engaged and empowered to live our mission and demonstrate our Core Values.  The Principal will serve as the academic leader focused on developing faculty and staff to continuously improve their craft and ultimately, driving student achievement. The MS/HS Principal is charged with maintaining academic operations, managing and coaching direct reports, and communicating consistently with parents/families to create a positive school climate.  The MS/HS Principal is also a spiritual leader, leading by example and ensuring that our Catholic faith is at the heart of all we do.

Qualifications and Skills
The candidate must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, possess excellent academic and spiritual leadership skills, be an engaging motivator, have excellent time management skills and financial management acumen, and have a proven record of creative problem-solving and ability to collaborate with all constituencies. Additionally, candidates must possess the following:

  • Deep belief in the potential of all children, regardless of their background.
  • A relentless work ethic and a high degree of patience to push through difficult challenges.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate, and cultivate a loving, joyful school culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to create inclusive environments that honor and support diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to introduce new concepts and drive success around common visions and goals.
  • Comprehensive understanding of appropriate application and differentiation of high-leverage instructional strategies based on comprehension of child development and pedagogy.
  • Experience with data-driven assessments to achieve student academic goals and inform instructional decisions and interventions.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a growth mindset and seek opportunities for feedback.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years teaching experience with at least 2 years of leadership in some capacity, as well as demonstrated student results at an exemplary level in both roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree from competitive university and State of Wisconsin school administrator license required; Master’s degree or other advanced degree preferred. 
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
