Middle School Science & Social Studies

Job Description

St. Joseph Catholic School in Wauwatosa is seeking a long-term substitute teacher for Middle School Science & Social Studies. We are looking to fill the position starting February 24, 2025 through late April/early May 2025. This position would include the teaching assignment in middle school as well as intervention with students based on needs, data and classroom observations.  This is an ideal assignment for newly graduated teachers to increase experiences for future career exploration .  If you have a passion for working with students, enjoy teaching and want to be part of a dedicated staff of teachers, please consider applying for this position.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Candidate must hold an appropriate license/certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
  • Have a passion for working with students
  • Experience with Middle School Science and Social Studies preferred
  • Effectively plan instruction and implement a variety of teaching strategies
  • Work well with a team in a collaborative environment
