The Ideal Candidate will support the mission of St. Leonard School that all students are Growing in the Image of Jesus Christ and must demonstrate: 

• Ability to incorporate various equipment to increase the physical well-being of the students

• Supervision of student activities within the classroom and other areas as assigned

• Identification of student needs and collaborate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students to achieve success

• Communication with parents through conferences and other means to discuss students’ progress  

• Expertise to evaluate students’ academic and social growth and keep appropriate academic records. 

• Knowledge on establishing and maintaining standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.

• Maintain professional competence through in-service education opportunities.
