Parish Coordinator

The Parish Coordinator at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary is to manage parish administrative system: assist the financial consultant with financial analysis, accounting, records maintenance, and human resource management.

  1. Engages parish members with the vision of stewardship, especially through the annual Holy Rosary Stewardship Commitment effort.
  2. Works as site administrator for CMG Connect and ensures parish employees and volunteers comply with the Archdiocese Safeguarding All God’s Children protocol
  3. Acts as a liaison for the Parish to All Saints Catholic School in regard to lease concerns
  4. Safeguards parish and sacramental records
  5. Administer and update ParishSoft software program
  6. Manages modern office technology
  7. Supervises Parish office staff and volunteers. Maintains personnel files for both new and existing employees
  8. Works with the parish financial consultant: including but not limited to assuring a timely payout of all invoices and recording parish revenues
  9. Prepares and records deposits, ACH Parishioner requests, submits employee timecards to Financial Consultant
  10. Acts as a coordinator assisting the Building and Grounds Committee of Holy Rosary Parish. Attends monthly committee meetings
  11. Ensures all certificates of vendors are updated and on file as required by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee
  12.  Assists the financial consultant in the development of a budget, monitors the Parish budget
  13.  Manages any legal or good-will contracts, including leased property
  14. Works as a facilitator for the Parish Festival Committee, and any other fund-raising efforts of the parish
  15. All other duties as assigned by either the Pastor or Parish Trustees

Qualifications

 

  1. A strong support of the mission of the Catholic Church who recognizes the importance of mission, service, and community of Holy Rosary Parish. 
  2. Proven management and leadership skills. 
  3. Excellent organizational skills. 
  4. Ability to work independently and also be part of a team.
  5. Associate Degree preferred, with an emphasis in Business Management, or equivalent in work experience and education. 
  6. Extensive experience in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, payroll and other management software.
