Part-Time Secretary

St. Roman Parish office is seeking a part-time secretary. As a support staff employee, the parish secretary provides clerical support for the pastor and staff. This position also includes receptionist duties, word processing, office, sacramental record maintenance and bulletin perparation. 

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have the following qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge & skills in using computers
  • Proficient in Microsoft, Word, Publisher and Excel
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to relate to a variety of people
  • Maintains confidentiality in all matters
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally & in writing
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision and possess good problem solving skills
  • Previous office experience required
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bilingual preferred
