Installation of St. Stephen and St. Lawrence Icons, Dec. 21

In honor of the Diaconate of Southeastern Wisconsin, the icons of St. Stephen and St. Lawrence have been installed in their permanent place in the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 812 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki will consecrate them at a special service on December 21, 2014 at 5:15 p.m. at the cathedral. All are welcome to attend this wonderful event.

These wonderful saints, St. Stephen and St. Lawrence, represent in essence the work of the Diaconate: St. Stephen the visionary, preacher and zealot, and St. Lawrence, whose love of Christ was expressed through giving to the poor.
