St. Bernadette Parish, 8200 West Denver Avenue (about three blocks south of Good Hope Road) invites you to enjoy their fabulous Friday fish fry from 4:30 to 7:00PM in the parish hall on May 17. Included with the fish are coleslaw, fries, rye roll, tartar sauce, lemon wedge, and coffee. Soda, beer, and desserts are available for purchase. A small portion dinner is available. In addition to individual dinners, we also offer a family bucket, which includes 1.5 pounds of fish and the sides, as well. We offer carryout and sit-down dining. St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (Kenosha, WI) - Downtown Kenosha Catholic is hosting a family-based event at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2 that invites parents, teens (13+), and all adults to learn about God’s plan for love and to consider what is the meaning of sex, gender, and the human body. The double-feature live presentation by renowned speaker Jason Evert combines Purified and Gender & the Theology of Your Body into one single retreat event. The evening is designed to assist teens in discovering how their body as a man or woman reveals their identity and calling and to live a life of purity. The talks will be followed by a period of Eucharistic adoration while confessions are heard. Free resources for all attendees will be available to take home. The event will be held in the DTKC Ministry Center Auditorium, 714 49th Street, Kenosha. Tickets are $25.00 per person and may be purchased from the DTKC website (downtownkenoshacatholic.org/news/jason-evert) or by contacting Jesse Gomez (jesse@dtkc.org / 262-657-1156 ext. 3).
Women are invited to Saint Francis de Sales Seminary on Tuesday, May 21 to pray for vocations to the priesthood. The gatherings will be led by Fr.
