Eucharistic Holy Hour for Hope June 27th at 6pm at St. Lucy “Hope is the theological virtue by which we desire the kingdom of heaven and eternal life as our happiness, placing our trust in Christ’s promises and relying not on our own strength, but on the help of the grace of the Holy Spirit.” (CCC 1817)” As part of the Church’s observance of the Jubilee Year of Hope, parishes throughout the Archdiocese are invited to celebrate a Holy Hour for Hope on the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. St. Lucy will hold a Holy Hour for Hope on June 27th at 6pm. This coordinated effort unites us in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, drawing from the theme DILEXIT NOS —“He loved us”—to reflect on the source of our hope: the self-giving love of Christ revealed on the cross and in the Eucharist
