St. Charles School is seeking a full-time, 2nd grade teacher. St. Charles is a growing, vibrant parish and school in the heart of Lake Country, Hartland, Wisconsin. Our school mission is to prepare and challenge our students in their intellectual, spiritual and moral lives by being innovative, responsive and compassionate leaders in the classroom and beyond. The candidate will be joining a growing school community as a 2nd grade teacher. St. Charles School, with a population of approximately 400 students, offers a wonderful teaching experience in an environment with high academic and behavioral expectations. Our school is one of the premier schools in the Waukesha County area.

• The qualified candidate will be a faith-filled, practicing Catholic, able to fully participate in the sacramental life of the church.

• The qualified candidate will provide a respectful, highly engaging, and inviting learning atmosphere which motivates and challenges students to achieve in all areas of development.
• The qualified candidate will have a deep understanding of the Archdiocesan Religion Standards and be able to effectively plan and implement into the curriculum.
• The qualified candidate effectively implements instructional best practices and strategies in order to meet the learning styles and needs of all students.
• The qualified candidate will work effectively and collaboratively with a strong and vibrant team.
• The qualified candidate will have strong skills in communication including the ability to exchange information on multiple levels (e.g. students, teachers, administrators and parents).
• The qualified candidate will be comfortable using a wide variety of technology for instruction, communication, and collaboration.
• The qualified candidate possesses the highest degree of professionalism.
• The qualified candidate has successfully completed Safeguarding All God’s Family training (Archdiocese of Milwaukee) and background check.
• Valid Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction teacher licensure required.
