Burlington Catholic is seeking a passionate educator to teach full time 4th Grade.

The BCS 4th Grade Teacher is responsible for the instruction, supervision, and management of 4th grade elementary school students. The 4th Grade Teacher should have excellent communication skills, a willingness to collaborate with fellow teachers and administration, and provide a welcoming, support learning environment that fosters creativity and a love for learning.

Primary Responsibilities of the BCS 4th Grade Teacher:

• Develop and implement unit plans in all subject areas that are developmentally appropriate for 4th graders and align with the Archdiocesan exit expectations.
• Ability to use technology both in communication with families as well as incorporate within daily lessons.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn PowerSchool to report standard scores
• Communicate and collaborate regularly with fellow teachers, administration, parents, and students regarding progress
• Attend weekly staff meetings, yearly professional development including faith formation; willingness to participate in after school / weekend school-related activities such as (but not limited to) sports, graduation, open house, parent information night.
