This full-time position includes teaching English Language Arts and Social Studies in a departmentalized model to two fourth-grade classrooms, working in close partnership with a collaborative team teacher. Position Responsibilities

• Form students intellectually, morally, and spiritually in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church, integrating Catholic faith and authentic Catholic Social Teaching throughout the curriculum
• All  instructional content aligns with Archdiocesan and state standards
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff
• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and inquiry
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Consistently assess student progress and communicate effectively with students and families
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment marked by order, respect, charity, and virtue.
• Serve as a visible witness to the Catholic faith in word and example.
• Support and participate in the sacramental and liturgical life of the school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)
• Wisconsin teaching license or ability to obtain licensure
• Commitment to teaching in full fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
• Intermediate  teaching experience, preferable 4th grade experience
• A proven track record  and commitment to meeting  the needs of students through collaboration and true differentiated instructional practices.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
