St. Matthew School is seeking a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Part-Time 5K Teacher Aide for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children and is passionate about supporting their academic, social, and spiritual development within a faith-filled Catholic school community.

This position is Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Additional afternoon hours may be available as a building substitute, as needed. Candidates seeking additional hours may also combine this position with morning and/or afternoon Extended Care shifts, creating schedules such as 6:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

The ideal candidate will assist the classroom teacher, work with individual students and small groups, help prepare instructional materials, supervise students, and contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to support the classroom teacher
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
• Practicing Catholics are encouraged to apply
