JOB SUMMARY /JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are seeking an exceptional 5th grade teacher who is eager to play a foundational role in this expansion. This is a unique opportunity for an educator who is passionate about shaping the future of a growing program - someone who is ready to lead, innovate, and grow alongside a supportive school community.

  • Pioneer a Program: As we grow our middle school, your voice will be critical in shaping the culture, standards and traditions of our 4th through 8th grade experience. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Instructional Excellence: Implement engaging, future-focused lesson plans in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion).
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with faculty and parents on curriculum and school-wide events.
  • Spiritual Leadership: Model the Catholic faith and participate in the liturgical life of the school.
  • Growth Mindset: Participate in the planning and development of our expanding middle school curriculum. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Elementary or Middle School Education (required)
  • Licensure: Valid State Teaching License through DPI (or eligibility).
  • Faith: Practicing Catholic, dedicated to faith-based education.
  • Safety: Completion of background check and Safe Environment training. Safe Environment training will be provided through St. Mary prior to the commencement of your contract.
