Summary: Responsible for resonating the tone and culture of the parish while facilitating communications and acting as a minister of hospitality. Also, provides office support with a variety of administraive activites and tasks.
Knowledge:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- Comprehensive knowledge and application of grammar, spelling and punctuation
- One to three years office or customer service experience required
- Computer literate, working knowledge of MS Office applications and office equipment
- Must have a valid driver's license from the State of Wisconsin

Dutes & Responsibilities
Ministry of Customer Service:
- Acts as the office receptionist: answers the phone, schedules Mass intentions, Baptisms and preparation classes, funerals and committals, maintains the online parish calendar via the website and greets/assists parishioners and guests.
Office Support:
- Oversees and prepares information for the bulletin and follows deadlines for submission
- Edit and maintain other communication tools
- Organizes and assists with monthly mailings
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office/parish supplies and maintains inventory
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc)
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopies, faxing, filing and collating
Records/Reports:
- Enters new parishioner and updates existing parishioner data
- Maintains sacramental registers (baptisms, marriages, deaths, confirmation and first communions)
- Completes required Archdiocesan reports
Other:
- Attends monthly parish staff meetings
- Coordinates and schedules volunteers working in the parish office
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Pastor
ADA Physical Requirements:
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; use hands; reach with hands and arms.
Close vision required for paperwork and computer.
Able to utilize computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone.
This role functions in an office environment and uses standard office equipment.
Ability to lift 20 pounds.
