The Racine Dominicans seek a mission‑aligned Assistant Dominican Sisters’ Residence & Dominican Life Coordinator to support the daily life, well‑being, and communal engagement of the Sisters at the Dominican Sisters Residence (DSR). This role centers on ministry of presence, relational care, and coordination of daily activities and communication within the residence. This role will promote an environment that respects the dignity, individuality, and Dominican identity of each Sister while fostering a strong sense of community and belonging.

 

Key responsibilities include one‑on‑one and group engagement, supporting meaningful connections, assisting with basic technology and communication needs, facilitating small events and Zoom programs, and collaborating with staff to maintain smooth daily operations. The role also includes shared weekend and event coverage.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 2–4 years’ experience in senior living, assisted living, or related environments
  • Experience supporting resident services coordination and collaborating with care staff
  • Demonstrated experience working with older adults with patience, empathy, and sound judgment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Zoom
  • Respect for and willingness to support the mission, values, and life of Women Religious
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Satisfactory criminal background check and basic physical
  • Previous experience working with Women Religious may be preferred
