Position Summary
Corpus Christi Parish School seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented Development & Events Assistant to provide administrative support to the Director of Development and Events Manager. This position plays an important role in supporting donor relations, communications, database management, and school events.
The ideal candidate will be professional, collaborative, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. The successful candidate will support the mission and Catholic identity of Corpus Christi Parish School and demonstrate a commitment to serving students, families, donors, and the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Database Support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date constituent and donor records, including contact information, relationships, and gift history
- Enter gifts and assist with donor acknowledgments
- Generate database reports and queries as requested
- Assist with segmented mailings, mail merges, and other development communications
- Coordinate with vendors for bulk mailings
- Assist the Development Director with grant preparation and other development projects
- Assist with donor cultivation, recognition, and stewardship efforts
Event Support
- Provide administrative and logistical support for school fundraising events, including the annual gala, Catholic schools walk, golf outing, 52 Club Raffle, donor recognition and cultivation events, and other special events
- Assist with event communications, materials, registration, and follow-up
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience working with a relational database; experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suites
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Professional, ethical, and confidential approach to work
- Graphic design experience is a plus
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for school events
- Understanding of and appreciation for the mission and Catholic identity of a Catholic school
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in nonprofit, education, development, events planning, or a similar office setting preferred
