Job Description
Dominican High School has a full-time opportunity for a student-centered educator in our English Department for 2026-2027 school year. This position includes teaching sections of high school English.
Dominican High School is a Catholic, college preparatory, co-ed high school of 320 students. We seek a talented educator who will value our diverse learning community and our Catholic mission to educate the whole person. Our teachers and students prioritize small class sizes and the ability to develop meaningful relationships. A willingness to work collaboratively with other members of the faculty, staff and student community is critical.
Dominican High School was founded by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters. The core Christian values of truth, compassion, partnership, community and justice provide the foundation for all aspects of the educational experience at Dominican.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters Degree in English from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Candidate must be WI DPI certified or certifiable as an English teacher, or willing to obtain certification.
Requirements
Knowledge of English content as appropriate for a college preparatory high school. The ability to effectively communicate with students, parents and colleagues is essential. All faculty members must support the core values of Catholic education.
