K3 Instructional Aide St. Mary’s Visitation School is seeking a faith-filled, nurturing, and patient Instructional Aide to support our K3 classroom for the 26-27 school year. This individual will work closely with the classroom teacher to help grow our youngest learners into disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Position Overview: 

The K3 Instructional Aide supports the classroom teacher in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment rooted in Catholic values and teachings. The aide assists with classroom instruction, supervision, faith formation, and daily routines to promote spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. 

 Instructional Support :

● Assist the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities

 ● Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts

 ● Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning spaces

 ● Support early literacy, numeracy, and social development activities Faith Formation 

● Model Christian values consistent with Catholic teachings

 ● Assist with classroom prayer, religion activities, and liturgical celebrations

 ● Foster a kind and loving classroom community rooted in Gospel values Classroom Management & Supervision

 ● Help maintain a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment 

● Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, recess, lunch, rest time, and transitions

 ● Maintain positive and professional interactions with parents Support 

● Help maintain student portfolios and attendance 

● Prepare classroom displays and bulletin boards 

● Perform light cleaning and classroom organization duties as needed 

Qualifications: 

● High school diploma required; associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred 

● Experience working with young children (ages 3–5) preferred
