K3 Part-Time Teacher (M/W/F) 7:30am-12:30pm St. Mary’s Visitation School is seeking a faith-filled, nurturing, and patient, Part-Time Teacher to support our expanding K3 program for the 2026-27 school year. 

Responsibilities:

 ● Model Christian behavior such as kindness, patience, and respect Instructional

 ● Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons

 ● Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning spaces 

● Responsible for daily instructional activities Classroom Management and Supervision

 ● Create a safe, nurturing, and structured positive classroom environment

 ● Maintain positive and professional interactions with parents 

● Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and transitions Support 

● Maintain student portfolios and attendance

 ● Prepare classroom displays and bulletin boards

 ● Perform light cleaning and classroom organization duties as needed
Communication 

● Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, behavior, and needs

 ● Participate in parent-teacher conferences

 ● Collaborate with staff and administration 

Qualifications:

 ● Practicing Catholic preferred or willingness to support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church

 ● Experience working with young children (ages 3-5) preferred 

● Teacher state licensure 

● CPR/AED First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills 

● Compliance with the diocesan safe environment training and background check requirements Physical Requirements

 ● Ability to lift up to 30 lbs 

● Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and sitting on floor
