Job Description:

The ideal candidates will effectively plan lessons consistent with the Archdiocese's grade-level standards for early childhood classrooms.  Lessons will need to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of all the students in our early childhood classrooms while supporting the vision and mission of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School.   • Create a safe, caring, and supportive classroom environment that encourages spiritual, social, and academic growth.
  • Incorporate Catholic values and Catholic social teachings into lessons and daily interactions.
  • Design engaging lessons consistent with Archdiocese standards and implement appropriate instructional strategies to support the diverse needs of all students in the class.
  • Accurately assess student progress and provide consistent feedback to parents and administration.
  • Establish clear, consistent communication with families to keep them informed about classroom instruction and their child’s progress.
  • Applicants must have a positive mindset as well as a passion for teaching, curriculum development, and lifelong learning.

Qualifications:

  1. Current State of Wisconsin Early Childhood Teacher License
  2. Working knowledge of Google Suite and ability to integrate technology
  3. Believes ALL students can learn at high levels
  4. Models Catholic spirituality, attitudes, and behaviors. A practicing Catholic is preferred.
  5. Professional working attitude and collaborative approach.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  7. Passionate and dynamic team player
