Position Summary
St. Francis de Sales Parish School is seeking a caring, faith-filled, team-oriented, and
enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026–27 school year. The ideal
candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment that supports the academic, social,
emotional, and spiritual development of our youngest learners while integrating Catholic values
throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
● Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with early
childhood and elementary standards
● Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that supports young learners
● Integrate Catholic faith and values into daily instruction and classroom life
● Support early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development
● Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
● Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school and parish events
● Assess and monitor student growth to inform instruction

Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree, preferably in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, or
currently working toward obtaining a bachelor's degree
● Wisconsin teaching license (or ability to obtain one) preferred
● Commitment to the mission of Catholic education
● Strong classroom management and communication skills
● Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and families
● Practicing Catholic preferred

Compensation
Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience and in line with diocesan guidelines.
