The primary function of this position is to provide housekeeping services to the Archdiocese of Milwaukee's Saint Francis de Sales Seminary
Position Responsibilities:
- Cleans offices, entrances, hallways, meeting room, lounges
- Reports areas where repairs are needed, checks for safety
- Checks student common areas for supplies
- Keeps guest rooms ready at all times
- Cleans and sanitizes sinks, toilets, and surrounding areas
- Dusts furniture, cleans windows
- Empties trash containers
- Cleans resident priest rooms
- Monitors calendar for guest reservations
- Cleans Miller Gym, Library, Vocations Office and Meyer Hall
- Prepares rooms for meetings and assistance for special events including kitchen help
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies in all supply closets
Skills, Education/Training:
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping procedures
- Ability to work well with others and communicate with priests and students
- Flexibility due to changing needs
- 1-3 years of experience in housekeeping and knowledge of guest relations
- Frequent standing, walking and lifting. Ability to lift 30 pounds required
- Occasional use of hazardous chemicals and cleaning products
