St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math and/or Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position may be structured as one full-time position or as two part-time positions, depending on the interests and qualifications of the candidate(s) selected. The position(s) will include teaching Math and/or Science to students in grades 6-8 while fostering a positive, faith-filled learning environment that supports students’ academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging instruction aligned with curriculum standards, maintaining effective classroom management, assessing student progress, integrating technology into instruction, communicating regularly with parents, and collaborating with faculty and administration. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills while fostering a love of learning.

As a member of our Catholic school community, the teacher will model Christian values, support the faith formation of students, and actively participate in the religious life of the school.

Qualified candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree. A current Wisconsin teaching license and prior teaching experience are preferred. Practicing Catholics are encouraged to apply.
