St. Joseph Catholic School in Wauwatosa is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science and Social Studies Teacher to join our faith-filled learning community. This full-time position involves teaching middle school students (grades 6–8) and collaborating with a supportive faculty committed to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and student formation.

Position Responsibilities
- Teach middle school Science and Social Studies courses aligned with Archdiocesan and state standards
- Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and inquiry
- Integrate Catholic values and Catholic Social Teaching across the curriculum
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with students and families
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required)
- Wisconsin teaching license or ability to obtain licensure
- Middle school teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Catholic education; practicing Catholic preferred but not required
- Willingness to support and uphold the mission of St. Joseph Catholic School
