St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We currently have four part-time openings in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion for grades 6–8.

We are flexible in structuring this position and welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. Candidates interested in teaching one or more subject areas are encouraged to apply. Full-time opportunities are available by combining two content areas. This could be Math/Science, Math/Social Studies, Math/Religion, Science/Social Studies, Science/Religion, or Social Studies/Religion.

The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, provide engaging and differentiated instruction, collaborate with colleagues and families, and support the mission of Catholic education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (required); Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or the appropriate content area (preferred)
  • Wisconsin teaching license preferred
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students and families
  • Commitment to collaborating with colleagues as part of a three-person middle school team
  • Ability to integrate faith, service, and Catholic values into the school day
  • Practicing Catholics are encouraged to apply, and is a requirement for candidates interested in teaching Religion
