St. John Vianney Parish School (SJV) in Brookfield is seeking a dynamic and passionate Music Teacher to join our talented and collaborative staff. Responsibilities

• Teach general music classes for grades K 3 through 8
• Lead the school children’s choir with a focus on vocal performance
• Provide individual voice lessons during the school day
• Direct student performances, including Christmas and Spring concerts
• Collaborate with faculty and parish staff to integrate music into school liturgies and special events
• Inspire students to develop a lifelong love of music and performance
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field (required)
• Valid teaching license or willingness to obtain licensure
• Classroom music instruction experience preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine commitment to the mission of Catholic education
