St. Gabriel Parish is seeking a reliable and dedicated Part-Time Custodian/Maintenance Person to help maintain our church, school, and parish facilities. This position plays an important role in supporting our mission by ensuring that our buildings and grounds are clean, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained for worship, ministry, and community activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining parish facilities.
• Performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance
• Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and equipment for parish events
• Assisting with seasonal grounds maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping
• Monitoring building safety and reporting maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• General custodial and maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and repair tasks
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed.
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of the Catholic Church

The hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until noon, but can be flexed based upon availability.
