Corpus Christi Parish School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Part-Time K3 teacher (0.3 FTE, Monday, Wednesday, Friday Mornings) to join our early childhood team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, welcoming, and faith-filled classroom environment where young children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

The K3 Teacher will plan and provide developmentally appropriate learning experiences that support the spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth of each child. Working in partnership with families and colleagues, the teacher will help establish a strong foundation for lifelong learning while supporting the mission, philosophy, and Catholic identity of Corpus Christi Parish School.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an early childhood educator who is passionate about working with young children and committed to nurturing the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement meaningful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with early childhood best practices and the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, supportive, and engaging classroom environment where young children can learn and grow.
  • Incorporate Catholic values, prayer, and faith formation into daily instruction and classroom routines.
  • Support the spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Establish consistent classroom routines and expectations that promote independence, cooperation, and positive behavior.
  • Observe and assess student development and use observations to inform instruction and support individual student needs.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress, development, and classroom experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent, enriching, and developmentally appropriate early childhood program.
  • Participate in parent/student/teacher conferences and other opportunities to support strong school-family partnerships.
  • Participate in school events, including open houses, holiday programs, faith celebrations, and other school activities.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and collaborative relationship with students, families, colleagues, and administration.
  • Participate actively in the life of Corpus Christi Parish School and contribute to its Catholic mission and culture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Certified or certifiable by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction preferred.
  • Previous experience working in an early childhood setting.
  • Familiarity with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to create a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
  • Committed to maintaining professional, ethical, and confidential behavior in all interactions.
  • Practicing Catholic preferred, or supportive of the Catholic faith and values of Corpus Christi Parish School.
